Without Interruption to Packet Forwarding
For routers with two Routing Engines, you can configure
graceful Routing Engine switchover (GRES). When graceful switchover
is configured, socket reconnection occurs seamlessly without interruption
to packet forwarding. For information about how to configure graceful
