Syntax



show | display inheritance <brief | defaults | terse>

Release Information

Command introduced before JUNOS Release 7.4.

Description

Show the inherited configuration data and information about the source group from which the configuration has been inherited.

Sample Output



user@host# show system ports | display inheritance
defaults

## ## 'console' was inherited from group 'junos-defaults'
## 'vt100' was inherited from group 'junos-defaults' 
## console type vt100;

Options

brief—(Optional) Display brief output for the command.
defaults—(Optional)Display the JUNOS software defaults that have been applied to the configuration.
terse—(Optional) Display terse output with inheritance details as inline comment.
