show route summary

none — Display summary statistics about the entries in the routing table on all logical systems.

logical-system (all | logical-system-name) — (Optional) Perform this operation on all logical systems or on a particular logical system.

Output Fields

Table 109 lists the output fields for the show route summary command. Output fields are listed in the approximate order in which they appear.

Sample Output

Field Name	Field Description
routing-table-name	Name of the routing table (for example, inet.0).
destinations	Number of destinations for which there are routes in the routing table.
routes	Number of routes in the routing table: active—Number of routes that are active. holddown—Number of routes that are in the hold-down state before being declared inactive. hidden—Number of routes not used because of routing policy.
Direct	Routes on the directly connected network.
Local	Local routes.
protocol-name	Name of the protocol from which the route was learned. For example, OSPF, RSVP, and Static.
