Command introduced before JUNOS Release 7.4.

Clear the Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) join and prune states.

none — Clear the PIM join and prune states for all groups, family addresses, and instances on all logical systems.

group-address — (Optional) Clear the PIM join and prune states for a group address.

inet | inet6 — (Optional) Clear the PIM join and prune states for IPv4 or IPv6 family addresses, respectively.

instance instance-name — (Optional) Clear the join and prune states for a specific PIM-enabled routing instance.

logical-system (all | logical-system-name) — (Optional) Perform this operation on all logical systems or on a particular logical system.

The clear pim join command cannot be used to clear the PIM join and prune state on a backup Routing Engine when nonstop active routing is enabled.
