show interfaces descriptions

Release Information

Command introduced before JUNOS Release 7.4.

Description

Display the interface descriptions that have been configured with the description statement at one of the following hierarchy levels:

[edit interfaces interface-name]
[edit interfaces interface-name unit unit-number]
[edit logical-system logical-system-name interfaces interface-name unit unit-number]

Options

This command has no options.

Output Fields

Table 16 lists the output fields for the show interfaces description command. Output fields are listed in the approximate order in which they appear.

Field Name	Field Description
Interface	Name of the interface.
Link	Link state: up or down.
Admin	Interface status: up or down.
Description	Configured description for the interface.
