On MX-series, clear the statistics for all Ethernet ring protection groups or a specific Ethernet ring protection group.
group name — Clear protection-group statistics for group specified by the group name.

When you enter this command, you are provided feedback on the status of your request.
To clear all protection-group ethernet-ring statistics for all protection groups, use the following command:
user@host> clear protection-group ethernet-ring
statistics
Cleared protection-group statistics for all groups
To clear protection-group statistics for the group my_prot_group, use the following command:
user@host> clear protection-group ethernet-ring
statistics group my_prot_group
Cleared protection-group statistics for group my_prot_group
