request ipsec switch

Syntax

request ipsec switch (interface <es-fpc/pic/port> | security-associations <sa-name>)

Release Information

Command introduced before JUNOS Release 7.4.

Description

(Encryption interface on M-series and T-series routing platforms only) Manually switch from the primary to the backup encryption services interface, or switch from the primary to the backup IP Security (IPSec) tunnel.

Options

interface <es-fpc/pic/port> — Switch to the backup encryption interface.

security-associations <sa-name> — Switch to the backup tunnel.
