To create a J-series chassis cluster, you must physically connect a pair of the same kind of supported J-series devices back-to-back over a pair of Gigabit Ethernet connections. The connection that serves as the control link must be the built-in interface ge-0/0/3. The fabric link connection can be a combination of any pair of Gigabit Ethernet interfaces on the devices. Figure 52 shows two J-series devices connected using the built-in interfaces for both the fabric and control links.
