Configuring Applications and Application Sets—Quick Configuration

You can use J-Web Quick Configuration to quickly configure application and application sets for a security policy.

Before You Begin
For background information, read Security Policies Overview and Understanding Policies. Configure zones. For more information, see Configuring Security Zones—Quick Configuration. Configure address books. For more information, see Configuring Addresses and Address Sets—Quick Configuration.

To configure applications and application sets with Quick Configuration:

Select Configuration > Quick Configuration > Policy Elements > Applications / Application Sets.
Select the Application Sets tab. See Figure 141.

Click Add. The Add an Application Set window appears as shown in Figure 142.

Enter an application set name (name for one or a group of preconfigured applications).
Use the left and right arrows to add or remove applications from the Applications in this set column.
Click one of the following buttons:
- To apply the configuration and return to the main Configuration page, click OK.
- To cancel your entries and return to the main page, click Cancel.
