Configuring a Tunnel Interface

You must create a tunnel interface and bind it to the security zone (vpn) that you created in Configuring a Security Zone. Then you can bind the VPN to the tunnel interface in the VPN configuration.

Figure 121 shows the Interface List page.

To configure a tunnel interface to be used for the VPN:

1. Select Configuration > Quick Configuration > Interfaces. A list of the network interfaces available on the router appears, as shown in Figure 121. The third column indicates whether the interface has been configured.
2. Configure properties for a network interface by selecting the interface name and following the instructions in Configuring a Gigabit Ethernet Interface—Quick Configuration.
