When the Compact Flash Is Removed from the Boot List

You can have a compact flash error when conditions, such as a HARD READ error occurs. When the compact flash is removed from the boot list, the following message displays you log in to the router:

Action

Check to see which file system is mounted by using the following CLI command:

user@host> show system storage

What It Means

The command output will not show ad0 (the compact-flash) mounted, but instead, ad1 (the hard disk) has the root file system mounted.
