Format of the message-source Field

The message-source field discussed in Interpreting Messages Generated in Standard Format by a JUNOS Process or Library has two or more subfields, depending on whether the message is logged on a single-chassis system or on a platform in a routing matrix, and whether message forwarding is configured in the routing matrix.
