Statement introduced before JUNOS Release 7.4.

Description

Frequency at which the router sends hello packets out of an interface, in seconds.

Options

seconds—Frequency of transmission for hello packets.

Range: 1 through 20,000 seconds
Default: 3 seconds (for designated intersystem [DIS] routers), 9 seconds (for non-DIS routers)
