Syntax

routing-interface routing-interface-name;

Statement introduced in JUNOS Release 8.4.

Description

(MX-series routers only) Specify a routing interface to include in a bridge domain or a VPLS routing instance.

Options

routing-interface-name—Name of the routing interface to include in the bridge domain or the VPLS routing instance. The format of the routing interface name is irb.x, where x is the unit number of the routing interface you configured at the [edit interfaces irb] hierarchy level. For more information about how to configure a routing interface, see the JUNOS Network Interfaces Configuration Guide.

Note: You can specify only one routing interface for each bridge domain or VPLS instance.
