set cli prompt

Syntax

set cli prompt string

Release Information

Command introduced before JUNOS Release 7.4.

Description

Set the prompt so that it is displayed within the CLI.

Sample Output


user@host> set cli prompt 
lab1-router>

Options

string—CLI prompt string. To include spaces in the prompt, enclose the string in quotation marks. By default, the string is username@hostname.
