clear interfaces mac-database interface-name

Command introduced in JUNOS Release 8.3.

Description

For Gigabit Ethernet IQ2 interfaces, clear learned media access control (MAC) addresses from the hardware and MAC database. Static MAC addresses configured by the operator are not cleared.

Options

interface-name — Name of a physical or logical interface. When you clear a physical interface, all learned MAC addresses on all the logical interfaces under the physical interface are cleared.
