Command introduced in JUNOS Release 7.4.

Description

(J-series routing platform only) Display firmware information.

Options

compatibility — (Optional) Display firmware compatibility information.

Output Fields

Table 123 lists the output fields for the show system firmware command. Output fields are listed in the approximate order in which they appear.

Field Name	Field Description
Part	Physical part on the router affected by the firmware.
Type	Type of firmware on the router.
Tag	Location of the firmware on the interface.
Current version	Firmware version on the affected router parts.
Available version	New versions of firmware for upgrading or downgrading.
Status	Firmware condition on the router.
Action	Whether you can upgrade or downgrade, or if no action is available (none).
