Import—View Import Status Dialog Box

Description

Use the Import—View Import Status dialog box to view the status of a device configuration file imported into the JUNOScope CVS repository.

Configuration > Repository > Import. Select the device configuration file to import. Confirm the import file selections, and click Next.

Dialog Elements

Local File display field—Displays the imported device configuration file pathname.

Configuration display field—Displays the name of the imported device configuration file in the CVS repository.

Action Taken display field—Displays the status of the imported configuration file. The possible actions include:

Added—The new configuration file was successfully imported, creating a new configuration in the repository.

Changed—The configuration file was successfully imported as a new revision of an existing configuration in the repository.

No changes—The configuration file was uploaded, but the file contents matched an existing configuration in the repository, so no action was taken.

Note: When you use two configuration names—the configuration file that exists on the user's local disk and the configuration as it exists in the repository—the association between the two names only lasts for one import operation.

If there are two different configuration files—a.conf and b.conf—the actions taken would be as follows:

Revision display field—Displays the revision level of the device configuration file in the CVS repository.

OK button—Opens the Import—Upload Configuration File dialog box.
