Connecting to a Remote Host Through Telnet
To connect to a remote host through Telnet:
- In operational mode, enter the following
command.
- user@host> telnet host <port port >
where:
- host —Hostname or
IP address of the remote host.
- port port —(Optional) Port number or service name on the remote
host.
