Connecting to a Remote Host Through Telnet

To connect to a remote host through Telnet:

• In operational mode, enter the following command.

  user@host> telnet host <port port >

  where:

  • host —Hostname or IP address of the remote host.
  • port port —(Optional) Port number or service name on the remote host.
