Configuring Subscriber IP Pools as IP Subnets
To configure subscriber IP pools that are
managed by the CMTS device as IP subnets:
- From configuration mode, access the configuration statement
that configures the CMTS device to which the JPS can connect.
- user@host# edit slot 0 jps cmts-registry cmts cmts-ip subnet-pool subnet
Specify the IP address of the CMTS device
and the IP address and mask of the subnet for the pool of subscriber
IP addresses.
- (Optional) Specify the IP addresses of the subnet that
are excluded from the subscriber IP pool managed by the CMTS device.
- [edit slot 0 jps cmts-registry cmts cmts-ip subnet-pool subnet]
- user@host# set exclude [exclude...]
- (Optional) Verify your configuration.
