Configuring Group Interfaces (C-Web Interface)

Group interfaces let you aggregate network interfaces into a single logical interface to support Ethernet redundancy. The group interfaces provide either hot standby or load-balancing services.

To configure an Ethernet group interface:

  1. Click Configure>Interfaces.
  2. In the dialog box, type the name of the new interface, and click OK.

    The Interfaces pane appears.

  3. Expand the interface, and click Group.
  4. Click Create, enter information in the Group pane as described in the Help text in the main pane, and click Apply.
  5. In the side pane, under the group click ARP Monitoring.

    The ARP Monitoring pane appears.

  6. Click Create, enter information in the Group pane as described in the Help text in the main pane, and click Apply.
