Configuring Gigabit Ethernet Interfaces for IPv6 with the SRC CLI
You can configure the Gigabit Ethernet interfaces to use IPv4 or IPv6 to allow remote access to the C-series Controller. You can specify an IP address with mask or a broadcast address with mask for an interface.
Use the following configuration statement to configure Gigabit Ethernet interfaces to use IPv6 at the
[edit]hierarchy level:interfaces name unitunit-numberfamily inet6 addressaddress;To configure a Gigabit Ethernet interface to use IPv6:
- From configuration mode, access the configuration statement that configures the interface.
[edit]user@host#edit interfaces nameunit unit-numberwhere
unit-numberis a number that you can assign for a logical interface identifier.[edit]user@host#edit interfaces eth0
- Specify the unit, family, and IP address for the interface.
