Command introduced before JUNOSe Release 7.1.0.

Description

Specifies the L2TP license key provided by your sales representative or Juniper Networks Customer Service. You can use the license on ERX-1440 routers, E120 routers, and E320 routers to increase the number of supported L2TP sessions from 16,000 to 32,000. The no version removes the license.

Note: This command is deprecated and might be removed completely in a future release.

JUNOSe software no longer requires you to configure a license to enable support for 32,000 L2TP sessions. The ERX-1440 routers, E120 routers, and E320 routers support 32,000 L2TP sessions by default; all other models support a maximum of 16,000 L2TP sessions.

Although the license l2tp-session command remains in the CLI, the command has no effect on the actual enforced limit.
