Syntax

ip vrrp vrid authentication-type { none | text }

no ip vrrp vrid authentication-type

Command introduced before JUNOSe Release 7.1.0.

Description

Specifies the VRRP authentication type. The no version restores the default value, none.

Options

• vrid—VRID identifier; a number in the range 1–255
• none—Disables authentication
• text—Specifies simple text password
