ip ttl

Syntax

ip ttl [ vrfName ] ttlValue

no ip ttl [ vrfName ]

Release Information

Command introduced before JUNOSe Release 7.1.0.

Description

Sets the hop count specified by the TTL field in the IP header used by IP for all operations unless overridden by another command. The no version restores the default value, 127.

Options

vrfName—Name of the VRF; string of 1–32 alphanumeric characters
ttlValue—Number in the range 1–255
