Syntax

ip pim dr-priority priority

no ip pim dr-priority

Command introduced in JUNOSe Release 9.0.0.

Description

Assigns a priority for the interface to be selected as the designated router. An interface with a higher priority value is preferred as a designated router over an interface with a lower priority value. The no version restores the default value of one.

Options

priority—Value in the range 1–254; default value is 1
