Configuring OSPF Traps
You can use the traps command to specify OSPF traps. This command enables you to specify all or any number of the following trap settings:
- virtIfStateChangeTo indicate any state change on an OSPF virtual interface
- nbrStateChangeTo indicate any state change on a nonvirtual OSPF neighbor
- virtNbrStateChangeTo indicate any state change on a virtual OSPF neighbor
- ifConfigErroTo indicate any configuration mismatch with a nonvirtual neighbor
- virtIfConfigErrorTo indicate any configuration mismatch with a virtual neighbor
- ifAuthFailureTo indicate any authentication failure on a nonvirtual interface
- virtIfAuthFailureTo indicate any authentication failure on a virtual interface
- ifRxBadPktTo indicate the receipt of a packet that the router cannot parse
- virtIfRxBadPktTo indicate the receipt of a packet on a virtual interface that the router cannot parse
- txRetransmitTo indicate the retransmittal of a packet on a nonvirtual interface
- virtTxRetransmitTo indicate the retransmittal of a packet on a virtual interface
- originateLsaTo indicate the origination of a new LSA by this router
- maxAgeLsaTo indicate that an LSA in this router LSDB has reached its maximum age value
- ifStateChangeTo indicate a state change on an OSPF interface

host1(config-router-rn)#traps allUse the no version to delete the specified trap, group of traps, or all traps.
