time-to-live

Description: 

Specifies a hop count by setting the value of the time-to-live field used by packets sent to a RIP remote neighbor. The no version restores the default value.

Syntax: 

time-to-live ttlValue

no time-to-live

• ttlValue—Number in the range 1–16; default value is 16
