dead-interval

Description: 

Sets the time period that the OSPF router waits without seeing hello packets from a remote neighbor before declaring the neighbor to be down. The no version restores the default value.

Syntax: 

dead-interval deadInterval

no dead-interval

• deadInterval—Number in the range 1–65535 seconds; default value is 40 seconds
