Specifies that the router uses remote defect indications (RDIs) at the path layer to determine the operational state of a path. The no version restores the default setting, in which loss of pointer and alarm indication signal (AIS) defects at the path layer determine the operational state of a path.
For channelized OCx/STMx interfaces:
