boot config

Description: 

Specifies how the router obtains its startup configuration. The no version clears a previous request to reboot in a specified manner; the next reboot uses the configuration saved in nonvolatile storage.

CAUTION: All boot config commands except for boot config running-configuration and boot config startup-configuration erase the existing running configuration when you reboot the router. Before executing this command, you might want to save the current configuration to a .cnf file using the copy running-configuration command.


Syntax: 

boot config { cnfFilename [ once ] | scrFilename | running-configuration | startup-configuration | factory-defaults }
