dns-server (for IPv6)

Syntax

dns-server ipv6AddressPrimary [ ipv6AddressSecondary ]

no dns-server

Command introduced in JUNOSe Release 10.1.0.

Description

Configures the primary and secondary IPv6 DNS server addresses in the IPv6 local address pool. The DNS server addresses are returned to the client in DHCPv6 responses as part of the DNS Recursive Name Server option. The no version removes the configured DNS server addresses.

Options

ipv6AddressPrimary—IPv6 address of the primary DNS server.
ipv6AddressSecondary—IPv6 address of the secondary DNS server.
