snmp-server interfaces compress

Syntax

[ no ] snmp-server interfaces compress [ interfaceLayer ]*

Release Information

Command introduced before JUNOSe Release 7.1.0.

Description

Removes a set of sublayers from the ifTable, the ifStackTable, and the ipAddrTable. You can enter this command multiple times to remove multiple interfaces. The no version negates the compression.

Options

• interfaceLayer—Interface layer that you want to remove from the ifTable, the ifStackTable, and the ipAddrTable. If you do not specify an interface layer, the router removes the following interface layers:
  • ip
  • ppp
  • ethernetSubinterface
  • hdlc
  • pppoeInterface
  • ipLoopback
  • ipVirtual
  • pppLinkInterface
  • slepInterface/ciscoHdlc
• *—Indicates that one or more parameters can be repeated multiple times in a list in the command line
