service timestamps

Syntax

service timestamps log datetime [ show-timezone [ localtime ] ]

no service timestamps [ log ]

Release Information

Command introduced before JUNOSe Release 7.1.0.

Description

Formats timestamps associated with log messages. The no version removes timestamps from log messages.

Options

log—Indicates that a timestamp will appear on log messages
datetime—Displays the date and time
show-timezone—Displays the time zone
localtime—Displays the timestamp in local time
