Syntax

[ no ] ip name-server serverIpAddress [ serverIpAddress ]*

Release Information

Command introduced before JUNOSe Release 7.1.0.

Description

Specifies a DNS name server that the router can query for hostname–to–IP address resolution. The no version deletes the name server.

Options

• serverIpAddress—IP or IPv6 address of a DNS name server
• *—Indicates that one or more parameters can be repeated multiple times in a list in the command line
