Syntax

[ no ] ip ignore-df-bit

Release Information

Command introduced before JUNOSe Release 7.1.0.

Description

Specifies that the router ignores the don't-fragment bit if present in the IP header of packets crossing the configured interface; the router then fragments packets even if the bit is present. The no version restores the default behavior, which is to consider the DF bit before fragmenting.
