Syntax

ip dynamic-interface-prefix [ vrf vrfName ] prefix

no ip dynamic-interface-prefix [ vrf vrfName ]

Release Information

Command introduced before JUNOSe Release 7.1.0.

Description

Specifies the prefix for the names of dynamic shared IP interfaces created for overlapping BGP/MPLS VPNs. The no version restores the default prefix, dyn.

Options

vrfName—Name of the VRF in which the shared interface is created; a string of 1–32 alphanumeric characters
prefix—String of 1–10 alphanumeric characters
