Syntax

idle-character { flags | marks }

no idle-character

Release Information

Command introduced before JUNOSe Release 7.1.0.

Description

Configures the HDLC idle character that is transmitted between HDLC packets. The no version restores the default value.

Options

• flags—Sets the idle character to 0x7E; the default value
• marks—Sets the idle character to 0xFF
