Add a MIME Pattern List
You are here: Security Services > UTM > Custom Objects.
Procedure
To add a MIME pattern list:
- Click the MIME Pattern List tab.
- Click the add icon (+) on the upper right side
of the MIME Pattern List tab.
The Add MIME Pattern List page appears.
- Complete the configuration according to the guidelines
provided in Table 287.
- Click OK to save the changes. If you want to
discard your changes, click Cancel.

Name | Enter a name for the MIME pattern list. You can use a string beginning with a letter or underscore and
consisting of alphanumeric characters, special characters such as
dashes and underscores. The maximum length is 40 characters. |
Value | ProcedureTo add a MIME pattern value: - Click +.
- Enter the MIME pattern value in the Value List.
Note:
Value must be two strings separated by slash(/): The first string beginning with a letter or number and
consisting of alphanumeric characters, underscores and dashes. Dashes
cannot be shown continuously in the string. The second string can be null or begin with a letter or
number and consisting of alphanumeric characters, underscores, dashes,
dots and pluses. Dashes, dots, and pluses cannot be shown continuously
in the string.
- Click the tick mark.
If you want to delete any MIME pattern values, select the value
and click the delete icon. |
