Outstanding Issues
This section lists outstanding issues with this release of the JunosV App Engine platform. (In the previous release, these issues were notated in the Junos SDK and JunosV App Engine combined release notes.) If there is an identifier following the description, it is the tracking number in our bug database.
- When you use the request virtual-engine {offline | reboot | service} compute-cluster cluster-name compute-node compute-node-name operational commands, type the compute cluster element before the compute node. In this case, the command completion feature works. If you type the compute node before the compute cluster, command completion does not work. [728180]
- New VMs created are active even after secondary memory is exhausted and sdk-vmmd is not responding. The VMs are active but fail to login to a newly created VM. [PR 792237]
- If TFTP is configured before the app-engine statement, an error message is displayed when it should not be displayed. [PR 808652]
- Validation fails when existing UI extension configuration
is present and any package is installed. The workaround is either
of the following:
- Deactivate and commit any UI extension configuration, install package, and then reactivate the configuration deactivated earlier.
- Use "no-validate" when installing a new package in the presence of existing UI extension configuration.
[PR 845832]
- When installing the jvae software with the request
system software add command, a message is displayed:
WARNING: The software that is being installed has limited support.
Ignore this message. It is not the case that the software has limited support. [PR 830525]
