Enabling an Event or Trigger Configuration

You can use the enable command in SNMP Event and Trigger Configuration modes to enable event and trigger configurations. You can use the no version of the enable command to disable event and trigger configurations.

Note: Once enabled, you cannot edit an event or trigger configuration (even when it is disabled). To change an enabled event or trigger, you must delete it and re-create it.

    To enable event configuration:

    • Execute the enable command in SNMP Event Configuration mode.
      host1(config-mgmtevent-event)#enable

    To enable trigger configuration:

    • Execute the enable command in SNMP Trigger Configuration mode.
      host1(config-mgmtevent-trigger)#enable
