l2tp retransmission

l2tp retransmission retries [ established | not-established ]

no l2tp retransmission [ retries ] [ established | not-established ]

Release Information

Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.

Sets the number of retransmission retries, and allows you to apply the retry count to established and/or unestablished tunnels. If you do not include a keyword, the router applies the retry count to all tunnels. The no version resets the number of retransmissions to the default value, 5.

Note: If you perform a stateful SRP switchover on an LNS device, we recommend that you configure the maximum number of retransmission attempts as 10, although the default number of attempts is 5. This recommendation applies for all types of L2TP peer resynchronization methods configured for LNS devices.
