Booting an EX Series Switch Using a Software Package Stored on a USB Flash Drive
You can download a software package onto a USB flash drive from a computer or any other device that can be used to download a package from the Internet to the USB flash drive. The USB flash drive storing the JUNOS software package can then be removed from the computer or other device and placed into the USB port on the EX Series switch. If an EX Series switch displays the prompt for the loader script, you can use a JUNOS software package that you have stored on the USB flash drive to boot the switch.
