Description

Designate the way that the switch's PoE controller allocates power to the PoE ports.

Options

type —Management type:

• class—The power available for the interface is determined based class of powered device connected. See section Classes of Powered Devices in PoE and EX Series Switches Overview for more information.
• static—The switch reserves a certain amount of power for the PoE port even when a powered device is not connected to the port. This setting ensures that power is available when needed.
