Listen passively for IP multicast responses.To exit mtrace monitor, type Ctrl+c.

Output Fields

Table 29 describes the output fields for the mtrace monitor command. Output fields are listed in the approximate order in which they appear.

Sample Output

Field Name	Field Description
Mtrace query at	Date and time of the query.
by	Address of the host issuing the query.
resp to	Response destination.
qid	Query ID number.
packet from...to	IP address of the query source and default group destination.
from...to	IP address of the multicast source and the response address.
via group	IP address of the group to trace.
mxhop	Maximum hop setting.
