You must configure each neighboring access node that
you want ANCP to monitor and potentially shape traffic for. Some neighbor
settings override globally configured values.
To configure an ANCP neighbor:
Specify the IP address of the neighbor.
[edit protocols ancp]
user@host# set neighbor 10.2.3.4
(Optional) Configure pre-ietf mode when
the neighbor does not support the current IETF standard and pre-ietf
mode is not configured globally.
[edit protocols ancp neighbor 10.2.3.4]
user@host# set pre-ietf-mode
(Optional) Configure ietf mode when the
neighbor supports the current IETF standard and pre-ietf-mode is configured
globally.
[edit protocols ancp neighbor 10.2.3.4]
user@host# set ietf-mode
(Optional) Configure the interval in
seconds between ANCP adjacency messages exchanged with this neighbor.
[edit protocols ancp neighbor 10.2.3.4]
user@host# set adjacency-timer 20
(Optional) Specify the maximum number
of discovery table entries that are accepted from this neighbor.
[edit protocols ancp neighbor 10.2.3.4]
user@host# set maximum-discovery-table-entries
10000
