    clock-mode (Chassis Synchronization)

    Syntax

    clock-mode (auto-select | free-run);

    Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 12.2 for ACX Series Routers.

    Description

    Specify the mode of operation to select the clock source either from a free-run local oscillator or from an external qualified clock.

    Default

    The default setting is auto-select mode

    Options

    auto-select
    		—

    Select the best clock source.

    free-run
    		—

    Use the free-running local oscillator.
