    Release Information

    Command introduced in Junos OS Release 9.2 for EX Series switches.

    Description

    Display IP source guard database information.

    Required Privilege Level

    Output Fields

    Table 1 lists the output fields for the show ip-source-guard command. Output fields are listed in the approximate order in which they appear.

    Field Name

    Field Description

    VLAN

    VLAN on which IP source guard is enabled.

    Interface

    Access interface associated with the VLAN in column 1.

    Tag

    VLAN ID for the VLAN in column 1. Possible values are:

    • 0, indicating the VLAN is not tagged.
    • 1 – 4093

    IP Address

    Source IP address for a device connected to the interface in column 2. A value of * (star, or asterisk) indicates that IP source guard is not enabled on this VLAN but the interface is shared with a VLAN that is enabled for IP source guard.

    MAC Address

    Source MAC address for a device connected to the interface in column 2. A value of * (star, or asterisk) indicates that IP source guard is not enabled on this VLAN but the interface is shared with a VLAN that is enabled for IP source guard.
