    Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.

    Description

    Configure a system login message. This message appears before a user logs in.

    You can format the message using the following special characters:

    • \n—New line
    • \t—Horizontal tab
    • \'—Single quotation mark
    • \"—Double quotation mark
    • \\—Backslash

    Options

    text—Text of the message.

    Required Privilege Level

    system—To view this statement in the configuration.

    system-control—To add this statement to the configuration
